Looking at the three choices and seeing you writing in a later post about wanting a softer look I have to agree that the first one (Face 2) has what you're looking for. As for the 2nd option it has a harsher look (probably about as soft as you can get her) being face 3, and the black fangs aren't that bad (just what goes with that face since it's the counter to the male face 3) try it in the Benchmark and see if it still bothers you there I know for me it doesn't show up as much as you think it will. The third option (Face 1) looks like she wants to complain to a manager :P

But yeah having face locked hair kind of sucks since that limits the options especially since some of the hair styles are vastly better than the others and part of the reason why I can't get behind face 1 :/ only thing I fear is very similar looking hrothgals out in the wild :/

Finally I know some folks have been talking about face 4 and I mean if you like it more power to you but I'll probably curse you to never be able to look at it the same way but all I can see is a very similar look as the live action Grinch movie with the lips >.< I just can't get behind that face because of that reason if I could change the lips then yeah it would be fine with the face.

Thanks for your help! I've had my miqo'te for a long time but did try viera for a while because I liked FFXII. Everytime I look at the Benchmark I find I'm really, really digging option 2 (face 3) so I might just commit when Dawntrail comes out and see how I feel, you're right the teeth are pretty difficult to see!

I really didn't like any of the haircuts looking at option 3 (face 1) but then, I know some people will probably be able to rock them much better than I can!

Yeah, he said that to people on a Stage, Was it Pax? I forget.

But that was mostly cause of the fact that this is "The First Graphical Update" so it became more mandatory as users will riot cause the chance of not looking 1-1 is 100% cause literal texture, lighting, shadows, shapes changes.

Because of the new graphic update we all get a free one in case we might want to readjust a few things, should some changes on the features our WoL currently has not be to our liking anymore.

It hasn't been totally confirmed, and nothing has been said since, but he said during the Japan fanfest that they might be sending one to everyone.

Can't imagine he would say it and then not do it, but again, it hasn't been brought up since. I was honestly expecting it to be included with the pre-order bonuses.

It was like that once (HW collector's edition?), but I think it's even fairer to just give one to everyone :> This way, no one will be forced to feel privileged or spend more than they expected.

A question for the experts, by the by: have we received an updated naming convention yet? Or will it happen closer to release/right after?
Logically, I would reason that a little earlier would be better, so that those who want to think through the details would have such an opportunity...
