I absolutely love Female Hrothgar.

What I don't love is only 4-face locked hairstyles per face + the one Dawntrail Warrior of Light hairstyle. Please tell me that's a benchmark-only thing and we're not getting an unnecessary and tiresome repeat of the original Hrothgar and Viera hair debacle. It really doesn't need to be said that just that amount of hairstyles is not acceptable. We really don't need 2 years of uphill fighting to establish this. We've been through it before.

Yeah I currently have the hair I like best not able to be used on the face I like best… really hoping that is just a benchmark thing, although it would’ve been nice to have my character ready to go for early access!

I'm just seeing the same warning signs of 4+ years of dripfeeding old unlockable hairstyles every other major patch, and the original racial hairstyles still being face-locked by 9.0 launch in 5 years.
I hope I get lucky and my favorite ponytail, gyr abanian and lahabrea hair get in by the end of Dawntrail -_-

I'm remaining hopeful that it's a result of the benchmark being a... somewhat unfinished version of the graphics update (as a fair number of people across the internet have been finding), and that they stuck to "racial hairs + Meteor's trailer hair" due to the rest being WIP, but they'll be finished by Dawntrail with the same set of available hairs as male Hrothgar.

It's overly optimistic, and the face-locked hairstyles would still indeed be face-locked... but it's at minimum better than actually only having 5 hairs per face option.

I've made three versions of the character, No.2 is my favourite but this face has black fangs? so I'm not sure about that in cutscenes, what do you think?

Nr.1 is cute (my favourite with those colours amd markings)
Nr.2 is more serious and deadly (the black fangs are supposed to be that way, they are the same for face 3 male)
Nr.3 looks like she's better than everyone else and it's true

I am very partial towards Femroes but... this is making have second thoughts.



Though, if hrotgals end up as able to wear hats as the hrotguys, it might be the deal breaker in need to stay as Femroe

Looking at the three choices and seeing you writing in a later post about wanting a softer look I have to agree that the first one (Face 2) has what you're looking for. As for the 2nd option it has a harsher look (probably about as soft as you can get her) being face 3, and the black fangs aren't that bad (just what goes with that face since it's the counter to the male face 3) try it in the Benchmark and see if it still bothers you there I know for me it doesn't show up as much as you think it will. The third option (Face 1) looks like she wants to complain to a manager :P

But yeah having face locked hair kind of sucks since that limits the options especially since some of the hair styles are vastly better than the others and part of the reason why I can't get behind face 1 :/ only thing I fear is very similar looking hrothgals out in the wild :/

Finally I know some folks have been talking about face 4 and I mean if you like it more power to you but I'll probably curse you to never be able to look at it the same way but all I can see is a very similar look as the live action Grinch movie with the lips >.< I just can't get behind that face because of that reason if I could change the lips then yeah it would be fine with the face.
