actually made a forum acc cause of the changes. A lot of people have said the same kinds of things but face 3 m viera just look... off?




First is EW second was the benchmark. He looks kinda waxy now and i had to adjust his skintone a little cause something about the original looked off. Definitely nerfed his eyelashes
my little beauty mark wasnt working properly but i havent seen others have this issue so might just be my benchmark being funny.
I think the nose mark was nice being subtle since the other faces had more prominent ones.
And others have said this but the ear textures def are not finished, and the catchlights being gone make them look pretty dead inside.
Hopefully its a wip? fingers crossed

why was the highlight placement in her hair changed? it looks like emo shit in the 2000s. even the base color is too bright.
why are her lips the wrong shape and with no subtle shine? where's her puffy bottom lip?
the nose could be better but I could also live with if I had to.
but it's the eyes... the eyes......!!!!!!!! they ruin everything. I could probably learn to live with everything else if the eyes were right. but instead of a wide-eyed adventurer, I get a dead-eyed zombie.

I want my girl back Yoshi-P, please, fix this... I know you and the devs have already done so much work and still have so much to do, but so many of us are so upset... I was at the US FanFest and this is not what we saw and what we were promised...

I think the new highlights look better because they look more normal, when they looked pretty random before. But I agree on everything else. Her eyes, mouth, eyebrows, and the depth of her face all look worse.

Same though! I feel the same way about my Rava boy; he looks like someone made a wax figure of him instead of it actually being him. He didn't look any better in the benchmark itself versus the CC

A lot of the "off" feeling of Face 3 is due to the mouth, which is notably changed in all of its styles. The eyelash nerf is super sad too. I've seen at least one other report of beauty mark issues, but it works fine in my client, so I can't verify the cause. It might be a strange settings thing? Or importing an appearance. I don't have an appearance saved with the mark, so I've been adding it live in the benchmark.

I love that Veena now have bright eyes like Rava, not arguing against anyone that doesn't like it because if you liked the older ones they're very different now so that's entirely fair, but for me personally that is a big upgrade.

I think for most of us Veena players, the issue isn't that the vibrancy is brighter. It's that Veena pupils are much smaller than they used to be, and it has a notable impact on character expressions.

Whatever people's issue with it is, is completely fair! Personally I happen to like it, but it is a completely different eye than how it was before so I can definitely see why someone would not.

I'm also sad about these changes. She's beautiful, but not herself anymore ;(. She kinda lost her cuteness in a way, she looks more serious now. Not sure how to explain it better. Her eyes are especially bad due to the smaller pupil, her upper lip seems a bit smaller than before as well. Love her new hair, but her face just doesn't look the same anymore.
