Final Fantasy XIV is not a game about gloom and despair. Final Fantasy has never been that kind of game. Emet entrusted us with his legacy, Hermes (per Emet) set Metion for failure. Death is a very hard concept to understand for a child, so she figured everyone would want that instead of life. She was wrong. If you're so obsessed with depressing games, however, there's plenty to chose from. Play the Dark Souls series, Darkwood or Project Zomboid, where there's literally no good ending.

Final Fantasy has always been a series about how there's always hope, no matter how dark things may get. Have you ever played FFVI?? One of the characters has a failed attempt, only to survive and rebuild her life. Hope is what moves this franchise, and you make it seem as if it was something frivolous, just bright for the sake of being bright and don't care about the layers that build such bright hopeful moments in the games.

People have called you a troll and yet I'm trying to be as understanding and as straight as I can, but I don't know if it's worth it. I may just delete this post if I end up regretting it.

okay maybe.. you have a point I guess i have the Sims to simulate my type of enviorment, but in my defense final fantasy does have that for example ff10 and ff7 is very much like that. I just want the roleplay that i can understand like that, Yes dark souls is great idk about the others but that game I do know maybe I should just not post and read my books and idk put up a rp add in party finder for my type. There is also necromancers in final fantasy tatics ogre wars along with a dark path but ... Its hard okay to not desire the things i do
