To be fair, the hunt mounts are not particularly great mounts. It's more like a thing for a collector and masochist to aim for given how many hunts someone has to do.

I said it before and i'll say it again. Discord was a mistake.
*goes back into cryostasis*
That's fair.
Tiger is alright but def underwhelming for the work to get it.
The triceratop from shb is amazing in every way and I use it all the time! He's the one outlier.
Viktor from ew is one of my least favorite mounts. It's tiny and ugly.
I'm also glad you said collector first. I like to think I'm not a masochist![]()
Also the faster they get killed, the faster they can spawn again. Especially A ranks. And if the trains wouldn't always wait untill all A ranks are up again, they could be killed one or two times more a day.
One big problem that happened to me in a spawning group for S rank hut. We spawned the S rank after hours of work then before all the whole group could get there it was already dead.
On the faloop vs centurio thing, most of the dynamis spawners use faloop just to coordinate spawns to ensure as much people get to each s rank in a reasonable timeframe, its not a power-trip or control thing. Centurio pings are almost entirely done by their discord bot, which relays from people using the plugin.
It's often that we're trying to coordinate spawns and relay them one at a time so people can get to all of them as mentioned above but centurio and their sonar users ping the s ranks immediately as they spawn in the exact location.
If most players didn't see a single kill as a waste of their time, they would be.
Why are some trains short an A rank or two? Because there were a few players who didn't see that single hunt as a waste of their time. Of course, that leaves those who wanted them all complaining that someone "stole" their hunt.
I think for players who like the hunting aspect instead of just the leeching aspect it isn't a waste of time. But I also think there aren't that much players anymore that are there truly for the hunting activity itself. If most players didn't see a single kill as a waste of their time, they would be.

Just read about the physical data center travel. I guess people want to have a 10 or 15 minute invulnerability buff for S ranks then because of the longer travel times.
Forgive Mao for askings but isn't A-Ranks on 4-5 hour timer? If is true, then no matter how fast A-Ranks get killed, will still has to waits few hours for respawn.
Mao is correct at a minimum A ranks need 4 hours to respawn, 6 is max. Hunt train conductors usually wait until all A ranks in Endwalker and/or Shadowbringers respawn to do another train. This usually waiting till all A ranks are over the 6 hour mark. A train can usually take 20-30 minutes depending on spawn points and such as well.
What Eraden I think is hinting at, is that instead of waiting for them all to spawn, if they are killed right as they spawn, within a 24 hour period you can get 4-6 kills depending on how early a same A rank spawns.
