If they coppied WoW's "Love is in the Air" valentines event, they'd probably need to delay DT another 6 months, the event let you spend love tokens on 20 rewards.... It's rather pathetic what we get for events.

You mean the "Love is in the Air" event that had been the same for over 14 years, prior to its 2024 rework? The event that only got some small new reward added every few years? The event that has one of the most unhinged mount farms in the entirety of WoW, with a droprate of 0.03% (which didn't get a minor buff until last year)?

Not saying the Little Ladies' Day/Hatchingtide is great, but the event you want copied is far more of a shitshow.

I don't like this direction myself but I think the time has come to do what's necessary and shame those who buy anything from the cash shop. They're pouring more resources into the Cash-shop than some parts of the game, the self-same game that requires Subscription and expansion purchases to play.

Or the Winter Veil event that not only has another yearly mount farm but also an assortment of bosses wearing Santa hats! Whoooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa™!!!!!!!!!
