Have you considered using alts to place 7 bids on a free company plot? You could use your main character to hop between your alts' fc and your current fc whenever you want to decorate. If you like to keep multiple characters in your current fc, you can put 6 of them back there after winning the house. Just keep 1 alt as the master.

This would still allow you to potentially keep bidding on personal plots with your main if that's your ultimate goal. The benefit of bidding on an fc plot instead of personal plot with your alts is that if one of your alts wins a personal plot, your main character will not have access to it and you will not be able to get a personal plot for your main character on that server.

Considering there are Mateus plots out there with ~10 bids right now, 7 lottery tickets would give you significantly better odds than 1 and it would give you access to housing whilst staying on your server. I'll help you set it up if you're interested.
