    They should give us 24 man savage versions. Maybe not quite as hard as Savage, but like... Idk.

    Labyrinth of the Ancients (Severe), get everyone killed by Acheron's Bacon. (I refuse to call him Phlegethon).

    Syrcus Tower (Severe), make Glasyas jump pads actually happen again! But with like, idk, having to pass Allagan Rot at the same time.

    World of Darkness (Severe), Make Cerberus's belly an alliance wide fight phase and a lot more intricate. Also make Ahriman's frontal laser shoot out his back at the same time. Put the fear of god into the ranged/mage players.

    Tbh they are fine as is - what is not is the complete lack of incentive to go back and do them synced like at least once per expansion or two. Could make achievements like "Uncoiled again" for Coils of Bahamut or "Time Paradox revisited" for Alexander raids in Savage for synced clears (not requiring min iLv.)

    Adequate titles or mounts for doing such would be nice. You know - how Blue Mage gets to have it, just like how we probably wont get solo or light party arena challenges anymore because of Masked Carnivale. If you can't tell, yes im jealous.
    You are not wrong with the powercreep - You are automatically given i90 items the moment you finish your level 50 job quest, so you overshoot the minimum ilevel for it by quite a bit from the get go. And the ARR MSQ nowadays even throws i110 gear towards you at the end.

    If they bothered remaking Castrum Meridianum and the Praetorium, they might as well give CT and the Coils new life.

    Savage versions of the Alliance Raids wouldn't necessarily even be all that hard to do...

    Just boost up the bosses damage, add enrage timers and make some more mechanical overlaps.

    With how power-crept CT is I'd support them just turning on Minimum Item Level for the Roulette versions.
    I'm ready to actually do mechanics, and revive (heh) the customary alliance wipes at Angry Mango.
    A complete rework seems doubtful at this point with how thinly stretched they claim development resources to be and I'm not sure what to sacrifice for a CT rework, DT desperately needs more new content with staying power than EW had as is.

    I think they need to adjust the lvl sync and make it so we're doing as it was when it first came out, but theres the most likely case that ilvl power crept it as well. content balance for older content is sadly not this games strong suit.

    Coils is in desperate need of a rework.

    It's practically impossible for new players to complete it at level 50, prior to entering Heavensward. No one ever queues for it. No roulette filters players into it, not even Mentor Roulette. You have to go via partyfinder, and the chances of finding a group that wants to learn the fights properly is pretty much non-existent. They have to get high level players to just carry them, and hope they can watch the cutscenes. It's an excellent story, and gives players their proper introduction to Allisaie.

    I did them unsynced back in Heavensward and had no problem. The mechanics for T5, T9 and the final coils were pretty rough unsynced then, but definitely not impossible.

    For example you still usually needed 8 people for T9, or alternatively 4, or some luck, to drop the meteors right and make the golems eat them right and meet the dps checks. It was still very difficult to get to the last phase and to survive the last phase. But possible. Now, you can finally solo it without any difficulty, it just took a lot of expansions to get to that point.

    T11 involved some role baits, tank swaps and a tether mechanic. It was also easy to step into the middle and die by accident. So it was not something you could solo then. But now? I think it is possible to solo it or at least duo it. Again, it took a long time to get to this point, but we're there now.

    But yeah the general problems with it not allowing roulette should have been corrected a long time ago otherwise we wouldnt be having this conversation.
    They just don't put their focus into old content. The new content is where the money is. They only bothered with the MSQ because of years of pressure to do it, the game having enough old content now to keep the majority of players occupied with the backlog and because the early MSQ makes an impression on new players' decision to stick with the game.

    I can confirm that every coil(including im 99% sure the savage versions) can indeed be solo'd today. They were all more or less doable in shadowbringers too. Most were doable in stormblood. Source: I have done them all for fun and to see if i could.
