    Fine, I'll bite.
You can use the letter Z because the powers that be at SE have not yet decided that you can't. If they do you can not use the letter Z any more without facing disciplinary action should that use on an SE-operated platform be brought to the attention of a GM.
The ToS gives them the power to ban anything they like for any reason they like.
    It really is that simple.

No they can't ban anything for any reason unless there is a clear reason that is against their ToS and that has not happened here. Also do you understand how ridiculous it would be if you couldn't use letter z? This is going back to the monkey age in thinking.

You pointed out the reason your self, the letter Z is just that, the letter Z, its origin is for language and was simply coopted by something else into a negative connotation.

While the word you are defending is the opposite, its origin is a negative connotation, how do you think people are going to interpret that?
Even if you were ignorant to the words origin, the second you learn about it any sane person would think "thats kind of weird" and most likely not even entertain the possibility of correlation and stop using it.

I had a person in an old Raid Group once, we asked him to not use the Swastika as his PfP, as it bothered some of our members, we all knew it's original meaning. He then did what this guy and so many others did and argued for the sake of it's original meaning, our white mage was jewish and was particularly offended. He then called us all sheep and left.

And words evolve. Something that was bad once does not forever only retain the bad meaning. Just because a certain group can only look at it in bad way doesn't mean it is bad and in this context it is nowhere near bad. Also the word loli does not mean the same as lolita etc now.

So do you think it's ok for someone to walk around with a Swastika because of it's original meaning, even if there are active Nazi's walking around all over the world spewing their ideaology.

Swastika does have more meanings than being the symbol of nazism. If a skinhead was wearing it on their jacket then there's no question what their message is but if it was used in a proper context i wound't have any problems with it. Also you don't know how the japanese react to this stuff. You are assuming this is a big nono topic to them but i would argue that any level headed person sees that OPs name in this context is not an issue.

I'm very level heded thank you, I'm simply of the mind that you don't use buzz words. No one cares about the original meaning, it's been tainted and is never used for it's original meaning. No ones dumb here my guy. ANd Trust me if you walk around most places with a Swastika you're getting punched in the face LMFAO.
