So neither are willing to call a child a Loli irl, point proven xD

You would never directly call someone a loli unless it was their name. From a quick Google search, yes there are children whom's real name is Loli.

Hell, you wouldn't use the term to talk about a real person anyway. From my understanding of it, loli refers to "A young or young-looking girl character in Japanese anime and manga." Obviously neither anime nor manga characters are real people. I don't know why this guy's bringing up swastikas and begging folks to go seek out real life children in a thread about a namechange like he's making a point, but maybe it's a sign that this discussion's hit its productive limit.

As i said there is no nuance with these ppl. They do not care about the actual issue. They just want to seem correct. No sane person acts like this. Calm btw.Hell, you wouldn't use the term to talk about a real person anyway. From my understanding of it, loli refers to "A young or young-looking girl character in Japanese anime and manga." That's what it means nowadays but it was originally derived from the term Lolita. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dic...english/lolita These days it has been most commonly associated with manga and Japan because Japan has different societal rules on sex than the rest of the world.Hell, you wouldn't use the term to talk about a real person anyway. The confusion arises from the fact that loli means "Young looking" but doesn't necessarily mean "IS YOUNG". If you create an 80-year-old character who looks 15, she'd be considered a loli by definition. But Lolita on the other hand does mean "is young", but young is subjective. No dictionary says that Loli has to be a minor as it places no age gap in any definition of the word so it's all up to the individual interpretation. Most people get uncomfortable since the term can refer to minors and not just barely legal types. Japan however using Loli in mostly underage situations is what has created this problem and unsettling nature with the term.

You realize that doesn't save it right? Either you are talking about an actual child with a term that is highly suspect or you are effectively pulling the "It's ok, she's actually a 1000 years old vampire" card. Regardless of which path you choose, you don't come off great and should probably just avoid both terms all together. That's what it means nowadays but it was originally derived from the term Lolita. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dic...english/lolita These days it has been most commonly associated with manga and Japan because Japan has different societal rules on sex than the rest of the world.

I think I see why you got reported. Look, no matter what definition you use. Loli has an actual definition and yeah if you also lalafell then it makes it way worse because alot in the community are anti child porn and stuff and lots see lalafell as children.
So you literally lost the battle. Enjoy the name change
