    Overtime exists because no team has yet won. The "losing team" has not lost yet and the "winning team" has not won yet. The victory conditions are simplified to create a match winner. A team that has not won in the first 5 minutes has no claim to winning that is violated by the other team winning in overtime.

    So true! It doesn't matter that the team that was winning before this was at 99% progress and the other side was only at 5%, let's go into overtime!
