The two things that have always perplexed me in Final Fantasy XIV.

    1. Echo Visions
    2. Adventurer Friends
    ____
    1. Is it just me that finds it amusing that the "big bad" always allows us, the WoLs, to doze off in a "dream vision" as they stand directly in front of us without attacking us?

That's actually very nice of them, as I assume we're defenseless and in a dream-state while the vision is "playing" in our minds.
    ____
    2. Suddenly being summoned, torn from taking a toilet break, eating with your family or sleeping, and finding yourself standing in front of a Primal... I'd be surprised if it happened to me, especially if I was busy with something else.

Maybe we call our "adventure friends" via linkpearl first so they can finish what they're doing and ready up?
    ____
This was not supposed to be a serious post; it was simply about things that make me chuckle.

You don't interrupt the hero when they are having a flashback or the villain while they are monologuing. What are we, savages?

Well the length of time that passes in reality while experiencing an Echo vision is... barely seconds if that even if the vision lasts for ages, so it may as well be instantaneous.

Besides, although it wasn't an Echo vision it may as well have been, when... ol' man G'raha 'called' you for a quick chat in the Occular.... at the worst possible time (in the middle of a friendly sparring match with Zenos), and you would have been killed by the crazy stalker if Estinien hadn't jumped in at that time and saved you. G'raha really has bad timing.

Ah to hell with that, villian monologues about stuff that is completely irrelevant to what I want to know? I'm going to smash him in the face with Shield Bash rather than bear another second listening to some uncouth oath with bad dress sense crow on how pathetic and powerless I am yaddayaddayadda... Just because I'm a PLD doesn't mean I'm not pragmatic. I don't follow 'honour before reason', it's the other way around to me.

Yeah, but what if not interrupting the fight led to us killing Zenos and turning the tide against the Garleans so they feel cornered and break out their secret weapon?

Oh of course, I was just being facetious. (not to mention it wasn't really G'raha's fault, given how... unreliable and difficult the Call spell was to use... the Archons and the Twins found that out the hard way...).
