i dont get why you mention boomers when you are probably from a generation that needs a safe space, also fyi "emo" is the "cutesy and coddling" ripoff version of goth "owo i'm so damaged daddy, please adopt me."

sure i would like more dark themes and heavy arcs, but insulting an entire generation to try and make your uninformed take just shows how childish you are, and i guess thats why we dont get dark plots, the game is to busy babysitting you.
