But ... isn't it also a bit rash for you/us (the players) to think the WoL/Scion ALREADY picked a side though. The dialogue choices for our response were purposely left ambiguous and I doubt it was done unintentional. The (over-eager/desperated) NPC decided to interpret it in a way that most convenience for them but hey, that's ... pretty common behavior. I'm sure literally everyone in this thread, including the people are complaining about this point had done it many times in their our life ... you know, only hear what we want to hear and see only what we want to see? If anything the complain in this thread is a prime example of that. People are predicting what would be a ~30 hours story based on not even pre-story ~5-10min segment (that's right, this is not even the start of the story) just so they can feel disappointed about. Why?
From an objective point of view, our current response is - at best - non-commitmental. Seriously, I'm struggle to see where people pull this "we already take the NPC word for granted and picked a side" ... like ... wut? All we have an allegation, and a request from a local so we at least obliged to investigate, but there is nothing so far indicated we already cast our dice.
