She does mention the signature looks like her father's. So definitely not written and sealed by him but possibly something he knew about. Also possibly something sent without his knowledge by someone who would have access to his signature. An interesting bit here, is when Wuk examines Krile's letter and she straight up says it looks forged as hell. The language is different, and the seal is the kind they wouldn't even use in her country. She only acknowledges that it might have been a dictated letter when she notices how put out Krile seems at the prospect of her letter being inauthentic. So to me, a letter that looks more like a fake (or even a trap) than an actual invitation, isn't a good reason either.
The villain definitely did the "can you sign for my class field trip" trick where he put the permission slip over his report card to make his parent sign it to get the signature lol. Master plan.

I think it was more that the signature was definitely her fathers, not it looked like her fathers. So she believed he may have dictated it. She ruled out it being a forgery because of the signature.
Wuk explains they have their own language so it was dictated, presumably to a translator, and then signed. That's what happened per the dialogue. If it wasn't translated, Krile (or, in the past her grandfather) wouldn't be able to read it. The idea it's a trap for Krile or WoL makes no sense. Even if it was a trap, the trap would now be outdated. If it's a fake letter, it serves no purpose. I'm 99% certain the point of this scene is to get you thinking about who was involved with the letter.
