Hrothgar + Roe are tall with males having a hulking amount of mass
Elezen are tall
Miqo, Hyur, and Viera run a medium sized spectrum. Though Viera might be able to breach into the tall range if set to max height.
Au Ra are kind of split. Females being the petite end of medium with Males being tall.
Lalafell are the only playable smol race.

Fair. However, it has occurred to me how they can maybe kinda 'cheat' with their feet: make them like they're wearing stilettos all the time.

Do you mean like the Viera racial gear? That would only work for that one set which doesn't really solve the problem.

This would certainly be better than yet another race that is just humans with odd/animal traits.

But I'd rather have something like a lizard race. Trying to integrate burmecian into XIV would look underwhelming as they would most definitely not have their original leg shapes.

Where do people keep thinking Burmecians were short? Freya is taller than everyone in the party except Amarant and that's not including her tall helmet.

I think, with Miqos, Viera and Hrothgar FF14 has already enough furry races.
