Honestly I never understood why they felt the need to take away the "pets". As a Mch main I miss the old turrets, and carbuncle/summons and fairies actually doing something in combat. The 'pet' jobs had a good pet system in place and it always feels like they are trying to "make pets work" and come up with a new fun way of doing it. We dont need a new wheel, just give us the old one that looks shiny. They already have a system they could model it after and sometimes I wonder if they forget that. Just adapt the chocobo companion system, use it as frame work and bam new pet class.
