I hope they mean it when they said challenging. Tired of the game being a snooze fest. I also like the emphasis on 7.X, means they at least know the game is lean content wise after the expac releases. Impossible to know if its PR talk but it seems they know they messed up.

Also looking forward to character creation updates but I wonder if it will be a revamp or just a few new options here and there.

Oh, they are. But I'm ready to move on if it disappoints on the scale Endwalker did for me (gameplay wise, the story was fine by me.). Luckily just the fact that there will be large scale field content is already an improvement.
