Ideally smarter inventory space and QoL space, I don't need more exactly.. as much as I want space that 'just works'. Like helping me keep it organized, so I don't have the same material across three different inventory systems lol, or not having to deal with as many tokens and baits, etc. A complete glamour log would be great, though obviously that's actually a lot of 'slots' (but its smart inventory too, as opposed to ours which is not smart at all).
I always find the challenge thing funny given as soon as we have challenging content that vast majority avoid it like the plague and complain about it. I mostly think we don't need more really hard stuff (savage+ and beyond), we just need better balance to content players do day in and day out such that it doesn't become too face roll BUT STILL IS regularly complete-able with an average team. Doesn't seem to be, to me, that actually HARD stuff is really desired because its instantly ignored or lambasted or sometimes both, except for a minority (nothing wrong with them, keep making that stuff, but it never seems to be a majority thing). Not hard content then, just 'engaging' content seems to be the actual desire. Not so easy you fall asleep basically. Not so hard that you lose all the time and feel like you cant pop a quick content piece out before heading to bed for another day's work.

At bare minimum I would like some kind of system that can run a check through all of your inventories for duplicates, even if it's as brute-forceish as an automated process running an /isearch check on every item in the inventory and then informing the player of any items that were found in multiple locations.Ideally smarter inventory space and QoL space, I don't need more exactly.. as much as I want space that 'just works'. I feel like they could also do some kind of "pseudo glamour log" thing this way that doesn't remember things permanently, just searches everything you currently have and displays it in some kind of interface so you can easily see things like what pieces you own from a particular dungeon.
On a side note, much as inventory management is not good in this game, playing other games can show you that it could always be worse. I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3 lately (as have a lot of people) and the inventory is basically all the downsides of this one but none of the helpful aspects. Each party member has their own inventory, you can't search, can't rearrange, there's no armoury chest, the gameplay constantly hands you more items and picking up too many things will restrict your character to walking speed until they lighten their pack. No glamour, either.

Seems good news for all the people wanting Viera and Hrothgar hats and more customization.
I liked the response that didn't seem to deny that some Dawntrial content can be compared to Eureka and Bozja. But it's vague and all we know of for sure is a different take on deep dungeons and a social version of Island Sanctuary-like content.
As for more inventory space, I just want an explanation of why they can't use Amazon cloud servers for it if they want a scaling amount of drive space for things such as a currency inventory or unlimited glamour dresser space, even if we can only access it at an Inn.

It's sadly just not the changes we actually need. Like shortening the patch cycle, fixing savage loot unlock, increasing the longevity of content and improving the combat system. Its not what we really need for DT honestly and I can't see this game lasting more than 5 years if nothing is done

Ya serious? This game isn't gonna die anywhere close to 5 or even 10 years from now. Does it have issues that need addressing? Yes. Without a doubt. But it is not in """Maintenance Mode""" like some folks love to believe it is. It's not on its deathbed. It's doing fine. It had a rough expansion, that doubled down on some bad design choices. That is where it fucked up, that is where I hope they learn from. Should they fix these issues? Again, yes, absolutely. Buuuut...the game is gonna keep on chugging just fine for a good long while.
Anyways, onto the actual thread.
This killed me. It killed me, my FC, my discord group that has people who don't even know who YoshiP is. Just...god damn. Everything else feels...boilerplate. But whatever, I got a hearty laugh. So I'm good.Q: YoshiP, I am kind of a cat person
A: Unfortunate, I like wolves
I guarantee you are wrong. This game will last more than 5 years if the devs continue with the current content cycle and do not divert from it at all. It's sadly just not the changes we actually need. Damn man. That sucks. Guess you should quit. No sense in playing and paying for a dying game. Me? Oh, I'm a walking physical manifestation of poor life choices.
