What Would Make Island Sanctuary More Enjoyable: Mammet Glamours

just ... really feels like there should be more 'other' game in that content and not 'just' excel. So if you're responding trying to get me to enjoy the excel more, eh.. I mean I don't hate it, second nature, but I am eager to see /other/ game added to it as I feel it was a big opportunity lost (or alternatively believe it will be feedback for future 'life' content, either way the feedback is worth it.. if it's now great, if it's for the future that's fine I suppose).

I actually suggested glamour for mammets in one of my obnoxiously long threads already, but yours and another persons post made me think it'd be a lot more fun if it wasn't a glamour but actual content instead.

I have been thinking that connecting lord of verminion to island sanctuary would be nice addition that does not require too much work. Instead of your wares being sold automatically you need to actually construct ships and send them across the sea to various points (perhaps that would require simplifying crafting and gathering parts) if you send them down a dangerous route you may need to defend your ship by sending mammets to fight. We'd get new things to do on our island, fight would be easy to balance since by story reason we would use pre chosen group of minions and i believe many people would find it cathartic to send mammets to get scrapped by the dozens

Yes. it isn't perfect. But we may as well make it as good as it can be.

What's your point? How are you proposing we make it better by not talking about the major element that people found unenjoyable?

It's really easy to make the "excel" part better - don't use the spreadsheet. Figure out what should be made by thinking it out yourself.

"The spreadsheet" is not the out-of-game solver, which has never taken the form of a spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet is the entire in-game interface of the Island Sanctuary factory schedule, whether you solve it yourself or not.
