Ive only ever received positive attention, i cant recall seeing negative racial comments in general outside of memes.
Though i have this saved from 2021 when i zoned into Bozja. Had me cracking up for a good hour.

Miqote and Aura girls are intimidated by strong Aura men. You saw it firsthand in the MSQ.
That said, you will never see a BMer play as a lalafell. It would be impossible to take them seriously.
It's just jokes and memes. The worst elezen get is just being called a giraffe, although its been nonexistent from my years of playing except by other elezen as a joke. Its not really that bad of a comment considering the other races like miqote have long necks as well, its just the most noticeable on elezen because they are meant to be tall and thin by model design.
I hate saying this because I don't really want to be mean but the community is a bit insane. I had a lalafell player lose their minds in discord the other week at a potato gif, calling it bigotry and racism. After going on their rant they ended up leaving the server because discord mods wouldn't kick me, and left some nasty messages at my house.
I can point you towards a group in-game that were using rl slurs, but I suppose decrying the people memeing about ffxiv races is more important.
i wouldn't call it racism lmfaoso, male aura here.. yea u know where this is going, but i personally think the amount of racism in this game towards other player races is rediculous. obv u know what they say about male auras, but what about lalafell players? catmoms? giraffe mains.
have you experienced misstreatment or steriotyping over the race you play?
have you ever had somebody blacklist you for it..
whats your story if you have one. if you dont. whats your 2c on this issue. how should square deal with it
my worst experience is being blacklisted by a girl in my static because she had a bad male aura experience and blisted all of us on sight
that said you'd be shocked at how many people treat you differently for playing a hrothgar. the energy you bring makes every straight man cower in fear while simultaneously annoying them that all the ladies /pet you and don't so much as look at them.

Don't know this lala. But I can only guess overreaction, or final straw that broke their back. Hard to tell with folks. It's just jokes and memes.

Mao seems to has good impressions with Bunnys until Mao tries bite thems. Then for some strange reason thems become wary around Mao. Mao tries explain to thems Mao nots racist. Mao treats all food that way!

Only racism I have ever seen is against lala's is patting their heads. I don't see ones giving other races head pats.

The only odd treatment I've seen, based on what races and/or genders people choose to play, is Lalafells not being allowed to attend RP night clubs, and female Roegadyns getting the loving attention from their fans. I started off as a Lalafell way back in 2.X, and I finally got to the point where I can't really stand playing a Lalafell anymore, because people always get weird around them. I went Miqo'te to keep me satiated until the long-awaited female Hrothgar get implemented, and then I might fantasia one last time to a femHroth and stay that way.
