I'd say Endwalker has been the 'experimentation' expansion, for better and for worse. New PvP was a success, a lot of the QoL features like Adventurer Plates, Portraits, and adjustments to fashion accessories have only improved the game, and Island Sanctuary was a good way to fix the 'no outdoor furnishings' problem. Oh, and Variant/Criterion are wonderful, just add Savage-level Tome Weapons to the Savage versions as glam options, and maybe implement it retroactively.

On the other hand, I think we can safely argue that the '2 minute meta' wasn't very popular with raiders as a whole, and that some jobs suffered pretty badly this expansion. Raiding could've also been a bit less stressful, as forcing raiders to do DSR into Abyssos into TOP into Anabaseios caused a ton of burnout amongst raiders, with several statics I know breaking up as a result of the stress.

As for what I'd want for Dawntrail, I'd like to see the game throw off some of the more questionable server/Data Center restrictions, add a Cross-DC Party Finder, open up region travel so I can visit my friends in NA, take it easy with the Savage and Ultimates, and maybe add some form of lifestyle content that provides people with an upgradeable house interior.

Just going to put it out there. No one besides SE has the data necessary to make a statement like the OP, nor do they have the data necessary to state otherwise. There are a lot of stats out there that you can make inferences from, but you're lying if you think you can tell me the thoughts and feelings of the vast majority of the playerbase.

I, personally, found Endwalker to be great.
It's fitting for the last chapter of the Hydaelyn storyline and I think the story winding down a bit and be more relaxed in post expac updates is, in my opinion, only logical. We already had the finale, now we just bridge the time to the next expansion.
