Honestly, I think the Moon is perfect. It has exactly the atmosphere you'd expect on a moon. It's "quiet", desolate, and barren. I mean, it shouldn't feel like the surface of a planet, it's the moon.
That being said, I would love for a bit more interaction there. Another dungeon, besides the 2/3 we have now. A deep dungeon, maybe even a variant dungeon. I doubt a raid would be on there, but, I'd like to still interact with the Moon, even post Endwalker. Maybe another reconstruction effort?
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.

Agreed, though I wish we got more of it and less of the tacky and oversized Bestways Burrow.

One of my friends who wasn't doing end walker with me via new game plus, accidentally spoiled the path appearing. It was hilarious watching my hrothgar friend just float up an invisible ramp.

You can also switch on NG+ mode for yourself and be left apparently floating in mid-air.
I think the IDEA of the Moon is still really cool, but yeah, feels a bit under-utilized. I also agree, the Loporitts area feels almost like it takes up a bit too much of the experience there.

If Endwalker had been two expansions as supposedly originally intended, the Loporrit segment would've made a fine x.1 patch. Those are always a bit lighter, as a break in tension from the previous story, before the rest of the patches pick up again. Move it around a little so we find some of them awakened by Fandaniel and Zenos arriving to unseal Zodiark, we fight him as the finale. Then in 6.1, we go back and find the rest of them awakening, preparing the moon to travel (with the Scions getting dragged into their various hijinks from trying to understand mortals), only to reveal at the end the first hints of Meteion. It could've worked out pretty well, I think.
Unfortunately, Endwalker's in a giant hurry all the time to rush through two expansions of story, so the few times it does slow down are very jarring.
I'm fairly certain it's supposed to be a reference to the "Face on Mars" photo.
As for my personal feedback on the moon, it almost feels like a waste of a zone for how empty it is. The surface of the moon I can understand to a degree, but Bestaways Burrow is my biggest complaint for the moon's lack of substance. Yes, the zone looks the way it does because of the Lopporitt's lack of understanding of how humans live, but I would hope that there would be more than just copy-pasted structures. It makes everything look too "samey". I would have maybe included a section that looks made for living quarters (almost like what we have from Smileton, but more neighborhood-like?) With Ancient-sized structures/furniture that might be fun to climb around at our sundered size.
IDK, I just would have appreciated more landmarks and things to make parts of the zone look more unique.
It's also a reference to FFIV. Oddly enough the moon on that game had 2 faces. 1 was a single stone object that looked like a face, the other was a bunch of stones placed in a smiley face pattern.I'm fairly certain it's supposed to be a reference to the "Face on Mars" photo.
