That's the rub, unfortunately. On Dynamis going somewhere else is just better in every way. So, how are you supposed to bolster a community of people who are used to leaving? I'm not dooming and glooming. This is a legitimate concern that SE isn't addressing. The fact that part two of the Dynamis expansion is just completely gone speaks louder than their silence. Unfortunately, it's Aether or bust. Honestly, bust is looking more appealing if you follow me.

I'm sorry you haven't found your home on Dynamis, it is a struggle and you do get left to your own devices a lot. Thankfully though I am on dynamis as well I enjoy what I can get done and I plan on trying to push it further next expansion. I've only been on this game about a year but every Friday we do fate Fridays in my FC, sometimes it may only be three of us but we still do it. We do maps every Saturday (last week the elpis ones this week gazelleskin) we're trying to set up a chocobo race event or just a scavenger hunt. I get almost all my dailies accomplished through the FC. Is it a perfect thing no, but I try to accomplish stuff on Dynamis to the best of my abilities, I can hold on Hope until Xbox gets release because I figure most of them will be funneled into the dc. But I will agree DC travel probably hurt dynamis more than it helped sadly, I honestly wouldn't care if they just cut it off and say it was a mistake.

I appreciate it. It's just hard to find an actual active one. I've been in so many that I'm just sick of jumping from one to the other to the other. The one I'm in now, they're nice, but again, it's just "Hey, let's afk all day!" I don't subscribe to RP and I get it and I don't want to knock people's hobbies, but it's why I just go hang out on Aether and do my roulettes, because everytime I ask it's like pulling teeth and this is like the 3rd FC that has been like this. I tried solo play, but there's literally zero social interaction in this game outside of a free company. I try to spark conversations in Hunt trains or Fate parties and nothing. And I know it's just a sign of the times. Discord is king, but it's rough. But what am I to do? At this point, I'm hoping my current one turns around or January 3rd. But even then, I'm not sure where I would want to go. Like a good deal of us vagrent players, I left the big servers for a reason. And now the small ones have their issues. I can not win, ya know? I just want what my FC was that kept me on Dynamis in the first place, but it's gone. And dwelling in the past isn't healthy. Sorry, I go of into rants sometimes.

I can only speak for Primal but that is definitely not the case here. I've played this game for years only on Hyperion and what you describe has never been my experience. Hunt trains and S rank kills are a flood of memes in shout chat whether I chime in or not. Even if nobody is saying anything I'll just say something silly and chat will be a flood of responses. I can also visit any major city right now and 100% guarantee success in talking to some random person. Why just this past evening, in the middle of the night when Limsa was mostly empty, some random lala came up to a friend of mine and I and started chatting with us.

All that being said, I can totally see Dynamis having trouble in that department. DC travel kneecapped Dynamis before it could ever develop its own community, so it's not surprising if the people there feel no kinship with each other.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: DC travel was a mistake and should be rolled back. Until such time as that happens unfortunately your best bet would probably be to transfer to a different DC.

I'm still holding out hope for the FC I have now, but I still have until January 3rd. I'm still not even sure what DC I would want to leave to. I've been on all of them, but primal the least.

But also, I agree. I remember getting hate when it was announced for asking for heavier restrictions on DC travel, and here we are. Hindsight is 20/20, but it didn't take a genius to figure out that Aether was going to run away with most of the playerbase.
