Fishing for solo runs You mean constantly connecting and disconnecting until you get into a solo instance which makes people wait more time because you join their lobby and leave? Is not that against ToS even with using bug-like advantage? I understand it's a popular option for players because it is what it is...but anyway, cheating is cheating and it doesn't even matter if someone uses third party tools or whatever he manually switches between instances.

for one thing, from my own experience doing it week one normally, and having people repeatedly bail on me, it does not make people wait longer. it only reduces the over all rewards if the match starts with less than 24 players. secondly it’s not a bug, leaving any duty bound gate in the MGS doesn’t give you a penalty, be it Leap or Faith or this.

if the devs dealt with the folks who were *actually* cheating, and fixed the terrible lag/server ping issues folks like me wouldn’t feel the need to instance hop.

In the Fall Guys event, it reduces rewards that others get and as a result it makes the whole ordeal take longer as you need more matches to be able to purchase the vendor items. There should be a penalty as this behaviour impacts a group of people negatively (plus some use a third party tool to automate this bs). It’s cheating and it’s a nuisance behaviour under the ToS.

i easily got enough points to get all the registerable rewards before i ever got my first win. not sure why folks would need a 3rd party tool to automate leaving the lobby, it only takes a few quick button presses to do it yourself. and honestly punishing people who try to find solo lobbies does not solve the inherent problems that cause people to do it: the atrocious lag/server latency for this event makes it impossible for some folks to do it, simply because they aren’t directly next to the server.
should the other players be punished because someone like me has to run this event countless times and never get a single win? should they be punished because i have to try and compete with this games terrible net code? after all, to me that would be a “nuisance”. and what about people who want to do this by themselves? not for easy wins, but because they have anxiety? or are trying to avoid someone? should they be punished? what if someone enters lobbyville only to be asked to help with something else? should they be punished? there’s nuance to these things.
not to mention this is a thread about getting the 100 wins first and foremost, if your trying to get the achievement your going to get the other items sooner or late.
the event goes til Dec 31st. it will take far less time to farm enough mgf to get those rewards than it will to get those 100 wins.
