    I would just rework DH, Tenacity, and Piety to all increase DH, along with an additional role specific effect. It's unfortunate that there's no 'Mastery' equivalent stat that works on a job-specific basis.

    Skill Speed and Spell Speed should also be reworked into a single Haste stat. If it's not possible to merge the two stats, just change the effect such that they both act on Weaponskills and Spells.

    Yeah this would be fine, I rather tenacity be actually more role specific and work as more of a "tank" stat, but theirs certainly issues with viability and usefulness (because dps is plainly more important anyway), I think what you suggested is better then just tenacity being a meme stat that doesn't barely even effect tanks defensive value anyway. (like current tenacity)

    Skill/spell merged would just be great in general aswell, It's really frustrating getting gear with skill speed on PLD.

    Id personally like to see Tenacity's damage scaling improve significantly, and while it already gives a lot of effects, just at very small ratios, its not very noticeable.

    - Higher damage multiplier, though still less than DET.
    - increased HP and healing received
    - Damage reduction, even the same as it is now

    Its not that bad, its just "not optimal" and so it feels bad in general; I dont think it needs major changes, as a result. Even just nerfing Crit melds would be sufficient to make Det/Ten builds potentially happen. Substats need a major change in 7.0 anyway, its been rather stagnant for a while

    I think I like the Idea of Tenacity just giving DH (The same amount as base level DH) so theirs no a reason to really meld DH and theirs way more reason to meld tenacity.
    But I would much prefer something like a rework of melding anyway.

    The problem here remains: if no dps is involved, you only need to reach a certain treshold value to make content beatable. Everything beyond that is better put in dps.
    However: if dps is involved, the question becomes 'how much'. If it beats Crit/DH, then it becomes the primary meld, if not, Crit/DH still wins.

    Idealy i would like it if both of these stats start to work like crit and dh, in which they scale non linear and boost each other further.

    What if for example the crit/dh values are halved for healer/tanks by default, yet the piety and tenacity negate that reduction. So 100 crit becomes an effective 50. each 2 piety then adds 1 to that 50. This way it doesnt matter for damage whether crit or piety was used as the resulting value is always the same as long as piety stayed below crit. 100 crit and 100 piety grants 100 effective crit, while 200 crit and 0 piety would also grant that 100 crit. But now piety grants the extra effect with it, making it prefered. It can still make crit melding prefered if piety is the higher stat on the gear, but it now adds a more balanced distribution.
