True, how dare people have fun in a video game ? Absolutely disgusting, people should be out there grinding savage over and over again even after they dont get loot anymore, not having fun in clubs.

Just harmless fun, right? It's definitely totally okay for people to cyber openly, and laws against gambling in Japan and most of Europe in no way influenced SE"s decision to make the activity against TOS. I'm sure none of these things happen in those venues despite half the advertisements either strongly alluding to them or stating it outright.

"I went to a 18+ venue and there was naughty stuff, oh no!"
If I wanted music, drinking and good company, I would not even have an MMO on my list of ideas.
That's up to each person's liking, who am I to judge what other people do with their time ? They pay their subscription not me.
Then dont go to it.
Simple.
I don't, but that's not really the point of this thread or the commentary in it. And you know it's not. If you think it's fine for all these venues to clog up party finder and /shout with their trash, so be it. It's an odd take, but you're welcome to it. That's not the worst of it anyway.
The real problem lies in the frequency with which minors are knowingly allowed to participate in these things. That shouldn't be happening.
On that note, of the many reasons I stopped bothering with role play in this game the frequency in which random people would approach me completely out of nowhere expecting erotic role play was genuinely off-putting. Even after putting my foot down and declining some of them would be brazen enough to try again until I blocked them. To say nothing of the 'Mare? Mare? Mare?' spam that has become increasingly common of late since modding has seemingly become so common to the point that role players who don't do it are now a minority.
I don't expect anything to be done about it though, since such players are Square Enix's favoured target audience these days as evidenced by how much of the game's new housing items and glamour are geared towards venues.
"Yoo check this new brothel, +18, hot night tonight!, auctions hype!, don't forget to share your mare!"
How dare people to complain about literally brothels? dood make mods legit and stop wasting resources on MSQ or jobs, classes w.e just focus in make our houses more realistic in termos of ERP.
Not certain what point you're trying to make here but I'll be blunt."Yoo check this new brothel, +18, hot night tonight!, auctions hype!, don't forget to share your mare!"

Participation is optional. I don't go to the venues or participate in their activities. I don't use any mods even though I'm on PC.
If someone chooses to engage in those things, that's their business and not mine.
On the subject of minors being exposed to them, let's be real. Minors have already been exposed to those things in real life in most cases no matter how much their parents think they're shielding their children (which usually means they aren't). Trying to pretend such things don't exist does not teach the child how to deal with those things when those subjects comes up on school campuses, during extracurricular activities, on TikTok and other social media that teens have their eyes practically glued to, etc.
It's on parents to teach their children to use common sense when engaging in online interactions and to offer supervision. They know their children are minors. We don't and it's ridiculous to expect us to interact with everyone as if they are a child.
