    Yeah, the current portrait system sucks. I don't understand why every little change fucks it up, even attaching materia or extracting it...
    I don't understand why we have to update it every time to use your current gear, why can't we use any other gear? I think that's a poor decision.
    I don't understand why we can't use portraits that use other jobs than the one you are playing, etc. I like that there's one portrait per job, but why can't I just copy and paste my samurai portrait for my astro for instance? You could argue that well, you are playing astro so you need an astro portrait. I don't think that restriction makes sense, but well, someone could argue it does.
    Why can't we slow down animations in gpose and the portrait? It's really damn difficult to get a decent pose sometimes, specially with some combat animations, e.g.: the pvp LB animations for the portrait.
    I understand that "it has just been introduced" and I'm grateful for this addition, it's great, but there's some decisions by the dev team that I don't quite understand and features I'd like to see improved.

    Once upon a time, in the early days of /portrait, before they added restrictions on angle, field of view, and face visibility, someone made a character portrait that looked like someone was performing nsfw acts on themself, and now we have restrictions on angle, field of view, and face visibility. Changing gear and job potentially change visibility, so the portraits need to be validated with each change.

    We would really benefit from a scrub bar and frame advance button so that we don't have to play the animation on loop and mistime the pause fifty times before getting it to stop on exactly the right frame.
