Im not saying it would "solve the issues of Balmung". However it is STILL a better system for people who are dedicating their lives each week to finding a house. The odds are SO out of your favor, it's practically not worth it. But with a priority system, for all those people who decide to keep bidding EVERY week after week, and keep trying but losing, at LEAST it gives them some how that EVENTUALLY they will be selected rather than always being in a position where there is almost a 0% chance that you'll get select, as well as everyone else in that queue.
Also you're assuming way too much and just really just being an ass. I have a house. I'd like to relocate to a medium or so, but that's besides the point, I'm complaining about the actual system itself. Which yes, is probably better off scrapped, but a priority system would STILL be better than what we are handed.
Literally not what I said. I said people who continue to constantly not win the lottery should be put in a higher priority for the NEXT week. Just because they are in higher priority still doesn't garuntee they'll be selected that week. But through a pattern of failures to get the lottery for housing, EVENTUALLY all that effort would pay off cuz they would eventually have a priority so high, that the system would naturally pick them.
That's well beyond fair. And that WOULD be how a "fair system works" because everyone would have access to that same system. If someone spent 3 months trying to get a house and failed every lottery but I got picked from week one, I'd naturally feel bad about it because that person has been trying for so long with still a chance of almost never getting selected.
Hell, even the current system is unfair. Just keep loading up alts and putting a lottery in, that would give you a higher chance. Couldn't do that before unless you was multi boxing on a placard. Even then I still preferred that system over this because the pool was smaller and there was a much higher chance, which is how I still have my house, but I digress. I think it's totally fair, especially if everyone has access to that same system as long as you keep bidding every week.
