The green does match the turtles... skin color.

But then the turtles names matches that of notable painters, and a painter job would have strong relation with blue mage, giving us an combat variant of it.

The clover is identical (or close to identical) to what is seen on Green Mage robes. Turtles are also green and have shells (Green Mages cast Shell). Green Mages are also associated with Viera and we're going to Erenville's homeland which is presumably filled with Viera. If it isn't Green Mage after the clover reveal then they intentionally mislead us for funsies.

Occam's Razor and all.

I'm just happy it's more likely than not GRM because I've wanted that forever.
