When you say "kids", what age range are you referring to?

I think a lot of people are misinterpreting YoshiP's comments to mean children when he's referring to young adults in their early to mid 20s. The game has a considerable amount of content that most parents aren't going to find suitable for their young children (and they probably don't try to control what their teens are playing). Once someone is in their 20s, they're far more likely to have been exposed to PCs (frequently using them for work and other purposes) and would have friends who own gaming consoles if they don't have one themselves.

Keep in mind that the average age for MMORPG players has risen into the early to mid 30s according to various surveys I've seen online Those under 30 are going to be considered "younger players" in comparison.

I would say I meant the 13-20 bracket. 20+ I would argue are adults in terms of wording. You simply aren't getting the teenage market because they consume media and entertainment in a far different manner. 20+ is what the game should be aiming for but I am not sure Endwalker really made any inroads to get that demographic much either and honestly I am not sure what could be done to get it.
