Actually I would really prefer if they reintroduce Derplander's friends back into the expansion trailers, aka non-Lamitt, non-Nyelbert, non-Branden and non-Renda Rae. It kinda felt odd that for the rest of the trailers about an MMO they just dropped the whole idea of the representation of you being with a party of friends and just had him be the "lone hero". Of course thats basically the case with the WoL in the actual game, since you dont have other WoLs alongside with you to share the burden in the story but still, I really would like to have those 4 guys come back somehow.

I'd love it if we discovered that Louisoix's teleportation magic dumped them somewhere in the New World. I recall watching a Youtube video showing how legacy characters have a different starting sequence (one that follows on from the end of the End of an Era cinematic) and they're alone following the teleport. Perhaps the fact that the other four were teleported a few seconds earlier resulted in them being sent somewhere else?

Though the tricky element of this is that it would work far better for legacy characters, since the lore had them fighting alongside each other at Carteneau. Not sure how that would fit around the 'backstory' of non-legacy characters.

It was an old meme on this very forum, because of the early renders and trailers for 1.0 the animations weren't completely right and so he pulled some... very weird and silly faces in them, and someone coined the term partially as a joke and partially as a form of endearment. The name stuck ever since.

TBH he's about the only reason I'd even tune into a trailer now. Too iconic a mascot for the game to change.
