Players that are new and not good at MMOs have so many tools provided to them from the first second of the game to succeed and get better.
Even things that aren't explicitly explained like DoTs ticcing every 3 seconds globally are very easy to figure out if a player simply tries them and sees, or is even afflicted by the many, many DoTs enemies can helpfully provide between level 1 and 90. Failing that, players can use the in game chat box to ask one of the many players, or in game novice network if they're struggling to find anyone in the game to ask.
They could also play a tank or healer instead of a DPS if not being perfect at your rotation is really a thing that prevents people from experiencing this game (it's not).
