We can only go by their claim that the one producing/selling the crafted items at price X is the same person who it buying the raw material for more than price X.
Which, from a stand point of for profit crafting, doesn't make a lick-of-sense.
I also do not see how a RMT could be funded by this method.
Now, if it was a different person buying up materials than whom is crafting the products, by using materials they obtained at a lower net cost, then it would make sense.
Player #1 is buying materials for whatever reason
Player #2 is producing goods for profit
But neither are associated.
If RMT was the case, then
Player #1 could be obfuscating RMT activity by using market board flipping to move Gil around accounts
Player #2 could be generating Gil for RMT by making expensive products out of bot harvested materials (although, for a pure market standpoint, it would be "more profit" to just market the raw materials in a lot of the cases, but maybe they found a niche)
I guess the main question is; Is the purchase history player's name of the materials as recorded on the market board the same as the Crafter's Signature of the product being sold at the apparent profit loss?
If it is the case, then Aneshda's statement of "Just to give to the poor and make them happy?" is pretty much what is happening.
