No space for Retainer..

Correction, There is literally no room for your retainer in Ul'dah, where you would prefer to be. However, the other two cities do still exist regardless what people tell you and your retainer will fit just fine there. Quit being a little whinny B because you didn't get into Ul'dah's and take your spot in the back of the line.

Well, that's exactly the problem. It's a network effect. Nobody sells in LL or Grid because nobody buys there. Nobody buys in LL or Grid because nobody sells there.

Just go find a retainer selling cheap ore or something. Buy them all so that the retainer has nothing in bazaar and it gets booted then summon yours.

Empty retainers are not booted except when the owner finishes a session with one empty. So the empty retainer will stay there, the owner will come by and put more cheap ore for bazaar during his session, and the retainer never goes away.

Yep, I'm looking at 8 empty retainers (selling wise)...clearing out inactive and empty retainers was the purpose of the wards resetting which people complained about.

I'm on Balmung, and I have no problems putting my goods up in any ward I want.

But that's because I'm one of those people who sets up her shop in Gridania, rather than That Other Massively Overpopulated Place.

Just set up a retainer with a real expensive item noone will buy so it will never depop! Had mine sitting there for 3 months now.

That would be all fine and good but that doesn't fix the problem of all the wards being full so we can't set one up in the first place.

I know, and totally agree that it sucks. It's my personal solution though.
