Funny enough, gaming itself has slowly become a blight on the genre in general. Its not just youtubers and streamers.

Back in the old times we didnt have such easy access to social media and online communities to be toxic or annoying. Back then, you only had word of mouth in school or that circle of friends you shared small bit of game stuff from magazines and such and it was honestly a lot more healthier than how its handled today imo.

Games are taken so seriously now
