Its more of to mock how laughably bad the mogstation is.

I'm laughing more at those who kept asking SE to add her set to the MogStation like it was something very unique. I'm sure most of them were expecting SE to add the hair but they've made it clear that long hair for player characters won't happen until tech improves considerably.

It's more the fact that 1) They're charging real money for a costume that has nearly identical existing components in game and the most important bit 2) No Hair Yet Again. They've an aversion to long hair yet if they just included that with this set just like Gaia's with her set and Rynes with hers it would be an instant buy for many.

1 - they're doing it specifically because players told them they would pay money for the set. At least the top is technically custom.

They've told us this before. While there's some clipping they're willing to let through, the amount of clipping that long hair will have until all supported player clients can handle "bones" added to hairstyles for multiple player characters displayed simultaneously isn't acceptable to them.

Think about how much clipping we get with even some of the shoulder length styles right now. It's pretty annoying. About the only "longish" ones that work are the single ponytails in the back. Hair like Yotsuyu and Ysayle would be fair worse.

I would say that if they were smart, they would stop adding long hairstyles to any NPCs other than trial/raid bosses. All it does is make the players continue to ask for them.

This isn't Shiva's outfit, it is Ysayle's. Anyone who asked for Ysayle's outfit expecting a version of Shiva not even connected to her needs to pay more attention to what they're requesting.

Even the official r/ffxiv subreddit is mocking the outfit. While a single subreddit isn't the same as the majority of the playerbase, r/ffxiv is still a massive amount of people and they are known for being incredibly positive towards the majority of the game content.

You know you messed up when even your biggest, most positive leaning portion of the fanbase is mocking you.

Even the official r/ffxiv subreddit is mocking the outfit. While a single subreddit isn't the same as the majority of the playerbase, r/ffxiv is still a massive amount of people and they are known for being incredibly positive towards the majority of the game content.

You know you messed up when even your biggest, most positive leaning portion of the fanbase is mocking you.

They were also mostly unified on the idea that post 5.0 healers are bad

Oh yeah, that's true. They do unify on some things. I think hroth/viera hats unified them a few times too.

To me it's a good indicator. At the end of the day most of us are really opinionated and when most everyone manages to agree on something, I think that creates a big statement on whatever they're agreeing about.

The FFXIV subreddit im in is also mocking it...but we mock everything really. Even main sub.

It's just another sad cashgrab.. People will buy it and thats the sad part... until people start rioting ingame or mass unsubbing... this will never improve
