Not the pursuit of any particular aesthetic itself. The pre-packaged "theming" is what I mean. Applies to any and all styles or aesthetics. I'll be the first to complain about needing more glamour options but a themed outfit is not any less restrictive or samey.

pre-packaged, targeted aesthetics are weak. Milky.

That depends mostly on how the gear pieces are designed. If they were purely designed as a set its bad, but if each piece can be used on its own, there is no issue.

Most event outfits are sadly of the full set kind. But for that its better if the event gives a set, while also introducing some seperate pieces.

Keep in mind people like to glam in theme, so additional pieces are helpful. A spiked bracelet and necklace are generic enough to allow a variety of uses for example. (and this is for example a gear piece slot you rarely see for events).

I think items that remove (make invisible) your head or hands would be cool. A head piece that puts a sword through your head. There could be varieties with and without oozing puss.

Why are so many people triggered by this request? It isn't something extreme outside the scope of the game. We have spooky areas, graveyards, and undead. Getting outdoor tombstones wouldn't be the end or a more spooky housing skin. I would guess though as all seasonal events lean towards the cute. You would have better luck trying to convince for just added housing furniture. In fact I would go so far as to talk to others work on a design and submit it for the next housing contest.

because people get triggered by anyone wishing and enjoying darker things, that's why those of that do enjoy it are typically the outcast in every circle.. Normal people could never understand the love in the darkness, the beauty in death and decay.. *shrug* my group on discord gets it that I play rdr2 with and Minecraft but *shrug*

Honestly my dream would be to have some monster high themed dresses because I love love monster high but that wont happen sadly

I could go for some more goth fashion. The Eden outfit was really popular and sold rather well, if you'll remember.

My tastes are more Addams Family than Monster High, but I'd go for either. Something I'd actually wear, unlike the clown or mad scientist costumes, which just.....aren't my thing.
