Let's talk about Atma

I find with the ATMA stage (also Anima FATE step), if RNG isn't going well, to just try a different zone. Sometimes it feels like the game just decides, for an area, your RNG figure is gonna be super low and you could be doing FATES for an hour+. No evidence of that but, I dunno, it generally seems to work.

This. I have every single ARR relic and when I was grinding out all the atmas I hopped around between zones. It's like 4 fates average for an atma I think, so if I didn't get it by then I'd move zones.

I do think that in the future, for DT relics if they give us a new fate currency they could just put relic upgrade equivalents of atma in the fate shops, but Atma isn't bad, especially considering what I've heard about it prior to its changes.

I am consistently hopping zones every 4-5 FATEs, and it's so absurd because I can hop through the entire list and get nothing. Then I start the next day from central shroud, drop 2 maiden atmas one fate after another and then nothing else drops for the rest of the day.

I genuinely do not understand how can someone defend RNG, it doesn't reward focus and hard work, it rewards dumb luck. A player can spend well over a week trying to get all the atma crystals, while another player can just get insanely lucky and have 11 sets of atmas ready in like a day or two. That is hardly fair.

If at the very least completing FATEs actually gave something useful so as to compensate for lost time other than pocket change of Gil and GC seals.
