Zepla: Endwalker is the Worst FFXIV Expansion I have played

On the other hand, she didn't title the video "I hate Endwalker." I feel the nuance is reflected well enough in the title, which is a summary of her thoughts regarding this expansion in comparison to other expansions that she has played. I'm not sure how anal we need to be about the title anyway, when the point is that the Endwalker expansion has been something of a letdown in comparison to prior expansions for various reasons.

She didn't, yeah. I'm just saying that people would get the full picture if they watched the vid. Plenty are jumping to the conclusion that she hates EW. The title of the vid makes it clear that she doesn't like it, but there's more to it than that. I am also in agreement with her points. I've been trying to make the same ones for a while now.

the reason for the link to the video literally existing is for it to be watched, not for people to just read the title, if they only read the title that's on them

I get what you were going for here and stormy was being obtuse and really missing the mark which is rare for them.

Anyway Vel my man there will be no 6.6… there will likely be nothing between January and June/July and that will be following their normal .5 to expansion trends. The only thing here is that there looks to be barely anything to sustain long term play for it outside of the odd event which doesn’t hold long. Personally Il be fine I’ve got so much to play and hey FF7 part 2 hopefully early next year like I’m golden :P either way I won’t say the cringey wording of hyper copium or whatever but it’s not healthy to believe that mindset.

Ive looked at the patch cycle again, and yeah...it just seems that a 5 month content delay is a more ouch they HAVE to be aware of.

The point about QoL IS valid and one she didnt address.

Look I like Zepla, she can be funny. I did and do feel sorry for her having to get the hell out of a warzone, that had to be an absolute nightmare. But at the same time, she had her own points to make and maybe this was more to garner her viewers attention after a long break.

The entire point of what Zepla thinks and mean and whatever post goodbye or whatever FFXIV thing or not she has posted is entirely irrelevant to the community, as the game hits and is different for all, one individual does not mean that everything whatever that person with a mic and webcam, that it actually mean anything usefull at all.

If you play the game, you play the game, if don't like the game and complain about it here, find another game to play.

I have been playing this game here since August 2016, and had sort of minor breaks in it here and there as well, and heck yes played other games, latest of note would be Stray and Baldurs Gate 3.

What Zepla or whatever else other streamer say is entirely irrelevant, if it is only critics... no one can use their personal critics be they positive or negative at all, and that is a fact, with FFXIV it is very much a personal opinion, and for people liking this game is in the extreme amounts.

Maybe they are or going to be de-moniticed or something and need to vent, however it is their problem for not being able to provide well enough and certainly not the problem of the game nor the community... these threads here involving these persons is definetely not good for their PR... nor other streamers either.

Also they should stop stealing others content.

I started this thread with a similar mindset; I can think for myself and how Zepla or any other person feels about the game is irrelevant to me. That said, Zepla has a lot of visibility, way more than I do, so she probably can sway her audience in some manner if they don't have strong feelings about XIV one way or another. Because of her large audience she is more likely to be listened to by the Devs than me or anyone else here.

So, I do feel streamers have some relevance, even if to me personally I won't change how I feel about a game just because they rambled in front of a camera.

I do think that a good professional streamer will keep their finger on the pulse of a game though, and that's something I think Zepla has done in the videos.
