A lot of people would like to do the same. Unfortunately doesn't mean they're entitled to. And while I tend to view "streamer privilege" as an overblown meme, it certainly doesn't make her more deserving of said opportunity.

I feel similar here. I already feel the extended content schedule and am in the spot where I just run a daily and log out, so I maybe play at most an hour a day if I'm lounging around my house. I don't think we are going to get a 6.6 - there is no reason to believe we will. So we have to buckle up for a long period of nothing new to do. I hope 7.0 and any improvements are worth it - it's going to be a tough sell and they will lose subscribers I'm sure at least temporarily for this.

I have 4 relics at the current level and want maybe 1 more, but it's not enough to get me to play more than my daily. If the Relics were another type of grind I probably just wouldn't do them - repetitive content of any type doesn't keep my interest and I'd rather play an entirely new game with new stories and gameplay than grind something I find boring, so I'm neutral on that.

Island Sanctuary and Criterion Dungeons were not for me at all. I'm torn on whether they should try new types of content - if they were amazing then I'd feel differently. In their current state I wonder why they bothered spending time on these things. It's still content though, just none I am interested in. There are probably people though who do like this and will say as such.

That said I have subbed the entire EW cycle and played more than ever in the past. From ARR to ShB I probably subbed maybe 4 months each expansion? So I had a lot of classes to level that kept me interested. Now I'm just left with a few unlevelled jobs I don't really care about so my motivation to spend time on that is diminished. People that started EW with all jobs at 80 must be incredibly bored by now.

If Zepla somehow gets access to Yoshi P and can advocate for more resources to be put back in XIV it would only be a good thing for us here.

It doesn't make her more deserving, but she definitely has easier access to the man directly due to her popularity. If her concerns are sincere, and she has the chance to voice them, hopefully she does. Streamers in general rely on theatrics, so perhaps this is simply that. But regardless of her intentions, she made some valid points. Points I've been trying to make for a while now, as have others.

Yeah, I'm not necessarily worried long-term, but I am...cautious, let's call it.

I'm the kind of person that always can find something to do (I mean, I have a number of the "gather X,000 materials from level X1-Y0 gathering node" achievements), but there are limits to how long old content, especially things you only really do once, can carry things.

I've enjoyed EW, don't get me wrong, but I do feel like I'm starting to have to get creative on new things to tackle or old things that I've been slow burn working through for a while finally resolving. If that's true with me, it's probably true with a lot of others. So if the path length is tooooo long (e.g. normal-to-8-months), it's going to be...unpleasant.

Exactly why do you think it's theatrics ? Maybe she is just saying what she feels, she is just saying what she thinks. Some streamers have their mask slip off when they're in private company and behave completely differently, have you heard any such stories about Zepla, never, because she was always like this, she always gets passionate when talking about something she cares about like Ukraine and Russia, this is the same, I wonder if you'll even say this if Zepla was a man, but because she's a woman so many people think she's just acting, no she's not, or do you have evidence you want to share with the class ?

This would be nice, but honestly... It's a lot harder to query about these issues without getting excited, going off on a tangent, and forgetting what you wanted to ask in the first place tbh, especially in face-to-face and even online, and especially so when it's a person you respect, and possibly adore.

Much easier said than done, even when the opportunity does arise.

At this point it doesn't seem worth arguing with them because there dead set on us getting a patch 6.6. Multiple people have explained to them the same things but they want to argue we will get an additional patch. I pretty much gave up arguing with them because apparently me and many others are wrong and haven't provided enough evidence of us not getting a 6.6 and don't want to admit there wrong. There arguing for the sake of arguing about getting 6.6 and how we have to wait and see and when we point out there wrong they want us to provide proof on why there wrong while not providing and evidence or proof of a 6.6 coming.

Expecting SE/YoshiP to suddenly break the formula they have been using since ARR is like expecting to go outside and find the sky has turned purple. Not gonna happen.

I mean.. by all means, write an e.mail to SE's PR and ask them for an interview with Yoshi. Let us know how that went.
