"Please reread my previous comment without making any personal modifications; I never said that. I am addressing individuals who attack others' opinions with a fallacious argument like 'you are a Zepla worshiper,' and the game has no issues.

Yea not much point in arguing with those people. Engage with the people you think are interested in a constructive discussion if you want one.
For me, it isn't about the number of content they add but the quality or more like them pushing the design of said content . ( `_ゝ´)Meanwhile, I'm here, having no idea of what people mean with "the direction of the game", or in what sense are the devs not giving attention to the game.
I've been here since release day. We always had weekly tomes to farm, raid equipment, and trials. Now we're getting extra things on top of that, like Variant/Criterion and Island Sanctuary, or Bozja/Eureka in previous expansions. We're getting more content now than we did in the past, and the devs keep giving us different things that they never tried before on top of the things we expect every patch, so I'm genuinely puzzled at all the drama hahaha.
...Do you want their souls on a plate? Is that it?
I'm mostly a causal player now-a-days but it just feels like they're not trying to push or experiment with most content anymore and when they do, they tune down the next iteration.
Euphrosyne feels more watered-down and paint by numbers then Aglaia.
Island Sanctuary turned into a spreadsheet simulator with little to no island interaction needed once you have things set up (outside of decorating your main area, which some players might not have items for because they don't own a house).
Variant/Criterion having bad/lukewarm reward structures that don't really make players want to run them past the first one-to-weeks after release.
Relics becoming purely tomestone grinds, lesser ones at that.
The MSQ trying to reverse a lot of the subversions, twists, and moral ambiguity that ShB brought so that the story would aligns more with a standard, heroic fantasy story about overcoming despair. (*´﹃`*)
I would say the 8-mans raids were the only place where there felt like a decent escalation of mechanics and story.

..are we forgetting there will be more than one fanfest? We havent even seen the entire trailer yet. So again, we dont have the full picture yet.We all know there isn't a 6.6 and if they had plans for a 6.6 they would have said so at fanfest

Wow 2 more fanfest where there focus will be entirely on dawntrail. We're not getting a 6.6 and not going to get a surprise 6.6 announcement at a fanfest. For someone who claims to have made there account in 2015 and didn't start playing until 2019 i would think someone who been around that long would know the patch/expansion cycle. There not deviating from there roadmap for endwalkers. And no amount of "wait for fanfest they will surprise us" will change the fact that were not going to get a 6.6 And the next producer live letter for 6.5 so there not going to mention 6.6 there either.

Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless
The opposite of love isn't hate, it is indifference. I love 14, it's my favorite game that I've been playing regularly since 2016 and it's gotten me through some major life events. But it has become boring and stale. If I didn't care, I wouldn't complain. I played Destiny/D2 for years and it got to the point that I didn't care anymore. I don't complain about how D2 sucks ass, I just ignore it. I complain about 14 because it has insane potential, EW has been an absolute mockery of an expansion for no good reason and 14 could easily be the best MMO on the market. As it stands, unless you are a new player or RPer, 14 is just plain bad.We can also ignore the terrible opinions presented by others. XIV is a fantastic game I play every single day. Imagine coming to a forum devoted to a game. Imagine spending every breath spreading negativity about said game. People of that ilk need help. If you are unhappy move on with your life. The game will go on just fine without you.

Yeah but ESO combat sucks.
The RPG aspect is great and immersive but there is nothing else.
Coincidence or not, both projects are initial failures that "resurrected" from the ashes. The sad fact is: they recovered enough to be playable and profitable but they will never reach their full potential.
