While I agree it is a little sad people brought forward criticism that your response brought more attention to Zepla than the actual issues she brings up and continues to argue about the point, it’s no wonder people feel like you have attempted to derail the conversation and are no longer interested in dealing with you or your arguments. The fact people whine and act like there getting bullied when forumers and streamers have genuine criticisms is why we can't have nice things. Things can't change and devs wont know there players are upset if people don't provide feedback but instead feedback gets dismissed because peoples feelings get hurt because "how dare you criticize my favorite game and hurt my feelings i feel victimized bullied and personally attacked".

Things can't change and devs wont know there players are upset if people don't provide feedback but instead feedback gets dismissed because peoples feelings get hurt because "how dare you criticize my favorite game and hurt my feelings i feel victimized bullied and personally attacked".

Consider:

- Someone (Titanman alt) posted what Zepla said.

- In response to counter arguments being made in good faith, the same someone (Titanman alt) replied with the specific segment of the video (timestamp) of her gaslighting opposition viewpoints.

- The person that was posted in response to even replied saying it didn't address her argument, to which the same someone (Titanman alt) then made more replies in the same vein.

- I replied pointing out that diminishes the reach of her argument and that it's bad to make a general attack of people in that way.

- NO LESS THAN TEN PEOPLE then abandoned the topic entirely to attack my take on it. And almost every one of them, btw, has a history of attacking my points in other threads. "blah blah blah" and "long post without saying thing" is not a rebuttal. It's an attack on someone or their style. The fact this has gone on for half a dozen pages and continues with your post, the post below with Vahl, after acknowledging immaturity before with it, posts yet another gif, and this after me pointing out the crying baby meme getting likes is why we can't have nice things.

It's like you guys lack basic self-awareness of what you're doing and how it's perceived.

I'm sorry, if you don't see how someone MIGHT perceive that as bullying, you may need to look up what bullying is. Using that to continue the dogpile on the person INSTEAD OF addressing the topic or their claims adds on to that.

My response had nothing to do with the crybaby gif. At all. Heck, that one didn't even get a like from me because I thought it was too much. I was simply agreeing with Nebelheim's point. You just happened to be indirectly tied to the post I was responding to. Just because you can relate somehow, doesn't make it my problem. Suddenly, that makes me the immature one? Please. It's not all about you. Seriously, it's not. Don't flatter yourself.

Look at the 1.0 situation they tried making ff11 version 2.0 but made a significantly worse game then ff11 ever was. Then when people provided feedback the 1.0 devs and Tanaka was so arrogant with there can do no wrong attitude that they would shutout any form of feedback to the point they shutdown the 1.0 forums because they couldn't handle the feedback. And now we have people on the forums feeling like victims for the dev team for streamers and people on the forums getting tired of lack of various things in endwalkers and want more from the game we use to get.

I literally stated MY OWN complaints that dovetail with Zepla's:

Here's the messed up part, if you ignore the tit-for-tat between the serial bullies and I, my own complaints are not dissimilar to Zepla's. I disagree with how she's expressing her complaints (again, I always oppose attacking people as part of an argument or critique), but I agree with the general idea of.

- There's not a lot to do, especially for the midcore.
- The post-EW climax high of 6.0 needed a more gradual let-down, and this was not handled well for various reasons, nor was the "adventuring reset", which seems to be pushed to 7.0 leaving us in an awkward purgatory...
- A lot of introduced content has missed the mark, even stuff that's stepping in the right direction (like Criterion)
- The pace of content is slower AND the amount released is lower AND there's nothing with grind potential to make up for it.

Those are significant critiques, and ones I have with the game right now myself.

I haven't dismissed her claims. These are things I have in common with her and with other people also critical of the current game.

TL;DR: Ignoring that to attack me instead IS, indeed, attacking me. And joining with half a dozen or so people to do so is, indeed, bullying.

And that's all I'm interested in saying on it. If you want to keep attacking me, you can, but that IS just bullying.

On the other hand, if you'd like to join me in discussing the issues with the game, you can do so. I've offered that to others and no one's taken up on it yet. Indicating that, yes, they'd rather attack me than discuss the issues, even the ones we have some agreement on.

Just watched the video. First time watching a Zepla vid and it was pretty excruciating to sit through but she makes some fair points. As an FC leader I have definitely noticed engagement drop off pretty quickly after each patch which I don't recall being the case in Shadowbringers.

I don't agree with all her points but I do think a few questionable decisions made here and there this expansion, which on their own probably wouldn't be the end of the world, have all added up to be a much larger problem.

I do think she's right on the money about the "vibe" of exploratory zones, even if I'm not a fan of those zones in general. The game needs more content to bring lots of players together, whether that comes in the form of a new Eureka/Bozja or regular zone content or something entirely new. I get a little taste of that every time I do an S rank kill and it's always a fun time, but obviously fleeting. I have no problem at all with expanding the Trust system to allow players to solo the whole story, but I do think the MM in MMO should always be the primary focus.

It's a bit late in the hour to address many of those issues now so it's really going to be on Dawntrail to shake things up. I think that is going to be a real watershed moment for the game, for good or ill.

I partially agree with you. The problem is: streamers has a different stimuli than you. You never know if they are doing because they are being honest or they just want to farm based on drama. Zepla changed a lot after Asmongold, she changed how she talks and behaves on the camera, she overreact about everything. Her coverage of Dawntrail announcement is unwatchable.

That's why people don't take them seriously and if even more people take their opinions with a grain of salt, they deserve it. Their attwhore attitudes ruined their credibility. It is what it is.

It's incredible hard for a dev to take feedback from the internet, it's a wild land. If a dev ask for our feedback for example, he will end with 99 different games and no definitive answer for the original problem. It's worst if they are lazy or comfortable like ours.
