Zepla: Endwalker is the Worst FFXIV Expansion I have played

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned it but it’s interesting that almost all the major streamers seem unified on this opinion, let’s say ignore the WOW refugee streamers to prove a point, the first two I think of are mr happy and “shield and heal as necessary”

Mr happy has been dead eyed for half an expansion now and shield and heal as necessary I’m pretty sure outright said EW is trash and dropped panda

Had there been a streamer in the last year or so who has actually come out and said that 14 is doing what they want right now (I honestly don’t have a pulse on xeno right now)

What probably helps their case a bit is that most of them have been around the block way more than once in regard to MMOs. They know the warning signs, and they can make an educated guess as to where things will go from a certain point. I'm not saying that they are always right, and I certainly don't always agree with them, not even Zepla. Heck, I straight up don't like Xenos. But they actually do know a thing or two, because they've seen it a thing or two. Dismissing them just because they are a streamer seems foolish, in my opinion. I form my own opinions. To my shock and surprise, it seems that a few high profile streamers share these views as well. A lot of us around here have been trying to get others to see the writing on the wall for a long, long time now. I will admit to feeling at least a little vindicated.

I partially agree with you. The problem is: streamers has a different stimuli than you. You never know if they are doing because they are being honest or they just want to farm based on drama. Zepla changed a lot after Asmongold, she changed how she talks and behaves on the camera, she overreact about everything. Her coverage of Dawntrail announcement is unwatchable.

That's why people don't take them seriously and if even more people take their opinions with a grain of salt, they deserve it. Their attwhore attitudes ruined their credibility. It is what it is.

It's incredible hard for a dev to take feedback from the internet, it's a wild land. If a dev ask for our feedback for example, he will end with 99 different games and no definitive answer for the original problem. It's worst if they are lazy or comfortable like ours.
