Savage mount with particle effects if you clear in week 1

Yeah...I mean, I have my gripes with the guy at times, and the game in general. But this seems like an odd thing to be upset about. It's not like he kept playing it during the broadcast. He put it down when it was time to do his thing. There's valid criticism, and then there's...whatever the heck this is.

Let's make it more prestigious, everyone that clears week 1 gets mounts....week two+ zero mounts and only titles

I don't hate it actually. In Tera, if you were the first to clear whatever it was-I think a new hardest dungeon or something?? Your group got a first clear title. I thought that was nice. NO I DONT CARE IF THAT WOULD RUIN YOUR LIFE AND MAKE YOU CRY AND FART YOURSELF AND COMBUST INTO FLAMES, DONT LECTURE ME ON HOW THE MERE SIGHT OF AN EARNED TITLE WOULD MAKE YOU SLIDE DOWN YOUR WALLS FECAL MATTERING IN AGONY, TELL THAT TO YOUR THERAPIST yeah but idk I just thought it was really neat back then. Another issue I have with this idea is that it only rewards skill to a certain point. Mostly, it would just reward people for having TIME. I'm sure a lot more people (not me, mind you) would clear week one if they could afford to invest 8 hours every day into progging. Alas, many players have jobs and families and simply can't find the time to clear week 1.

Ok, the pterodactyl mount also just rewards time, so is the mentor roulette mount, the 5000 A Rank hunt mount etc. Shall we give them for free too ? Apparently nothing can take time or it's bad.

Man I hate exclusive mounts. I'm still beyond pissed off that they chose the dreadnaught to be a top 100 reward and I was nowhere near able to get into the top 100. I guess I just don't get the mob I wanted a mount of since heavensward when I saw it in azys lla. Defending fomo and locking people out of rewards (Especially those gained through illicit means) is stupid.

Those take time over a long period. Everyone can get them EVENTUALLY. You are comparing apples to oranges if you're saying that's the same thing as time gating something behind a single week. I can't dedicate 40 hours to a week one clear, but I can dedicate 40 hours over the course of a month. The mentor roulette mount isn't going anywhere. The week 1 rewards would no longer be available.

I'm not asking for everything to just be handed out to people with zero effort required. I'm asking for everyone to have a fair shot at obtaining the rewards without FOMO. It's that simple.

Why don't we just give people who clear week 1 a particle drenched weapon that will also one shot any boss in the game, just to give them that extra bit of prestige. Oh and a special title that when equipped at the start of a dungeon will force all players without the title to emote a deep respectful bow to them.

Introduce a variant of a Savage mount that everyone gets if you cleared the last floor in a Savage tier in week 1, make it the same model, like megaloambystoma, but with some minor particle effects (not too much). I think this is a good way to add some prestigious mounts.

I can already hear the complaints "noooo this is elitist" actually that is the point, thank you for agreeing, it is for the elite, it's an elite mount. If I see a shiny megaloambystoma, I will know that person cleared Savage week 1.

See this is the type of stuff that would breed people to cheat more, it was cause drama, and most of all complaints. No one likes Fomo = problems.
