and how does incentivising variety harm anything? Grinding everything at the end is also a horrible idea given that they only announce a few days in advance.Grinding out the whole prize list in the first few hours of the event is purely a player psychology thing. There is absolutely nothing that is forcing anyone to do it at a rush or organise dedicated parties to run "the most efficient duty" into the ground.
Play as normal, do the roulettes that get you into relevant content, or queue for duties that drop other things you need. Grind for tomes at the end of the period if you still need them.
Feels to me like a lot of you are just against any changes just for the sake of being against it.
