Thank you for proving my point. The gameplay in FF 14 has been this way since ARR and before. But you knew that already.
I personally am enjoying the game immensely,. absolutely loved Endwalker and its story, have enjoyed the expac and its many features. Endwalker to me has been a success and was worth every moment.
Im honestly sorry you dont share that feeling.

Looks like it fits this community perfectly to me, looking at how happy people are that they get to watch the same movie back to back non stop for multiple hours for a mount or a pet at the end, the players are at fault for the mediocrity of the events in FFXIV, because the standards are non existent
You and I may disagree a lot, but a majority of the players in this game is actually just like Vel, they are a good image of the playerbase as a whole.

I don't know about ESO as I have never been to one of their seasonal events but uh.... the events in WoW have been almost the exact same for the last 19 years. That's... not exactly respectful of to the brains of the playerbase to make them farm the exact same bosses and activities for 19 years with a very rare occasional small addition.

They added a lot of small events, called micro events or something like that, that are actually brand new, dont last long, a day or a few days, but are pretty recurrent, the old ones though are pretty much the same yes, but they added a lot of new micro events.
I've done the micro events. They offer nothing aside from a bit of lore with no game play to them. Just a bit of neat. I am talking the actual Season events like the Fire Festival, Brewfest, All Hallows, and Christmas. With a few exceptions of like the eating contest at the brewfest the events have been kill x boss for loot and do x minigame for currency that have not changed since they launched.
Hell, the Horde side for Halloween is still in Brill which requires you to time travel to do it because actual brill is a ruin and has been since BfA.
That's still more than what FFXIV does with the same recycled events with absolutely nothing new at all, not only that, but it's also sending you to old content in FFXIV that has been done a million times, at least WoW is better in that departmentI've done the micro events. WoW and many others MMO, the same boring quest to farm because you need tokens. The first year you ride a goat is fun, the second year a lot less, the third year you hope there are not new reward so you don't need to do that quest anymore.I don't know about ESO as I have never been to one of their seasonal events but uh.... the events in WoW have been almost the exact same for the last 19 years. I have 10,000 needles,
I'm not a weaver,
and I'm not scared to use them.
