I wish the Bard songs are kind of toggle, but it might be too OP.
WHM : Bring in Seraph Strike from PvP as an offensive Lily spender, would probably need to have a CD longer than the 20s it takes to generate the lilies in order to not completely remove their usage for heals.
SCH : Give back Selene her skill set.
SMN : Upgrade their Physick to be in line with Vercure, increase the MP cost and make it scale to Int rather than Mind.
^ive seen this suggested so often
What does physick on SMN not being completely useless actually achieve, vercure itself is only ever used to proc dual cast in downtime (and kinda had a niche as making RDM the best overall class in eureka due to the heal/rezz/cloak before SMN murdered it with its rework)
They’ve long since ditched skills meant to be used in abnormal situations (most people who seem to want physick to do something use the example of “what if the healer dies”) and physick isn’t a fun skill, why not just delete it, it achieves nothing
Continuation on fated circle.

Just like RDM's vercure is extremely useful in those. There's no reason to delete Physick instead of just normalizing it - since it's such niche, it won't even have to be in people's hotbars if they don't think they'll need it.
Yes but class balance is balanced around the fact that DPS don’t have spammable heals (outside of lost actions), RDM sorta gets away with it because it’s basically a WHM by proxy but SMN is just a barely connected origin class with SCHSoloing activities like Fate farming, Deep Dungeons, Field Operations when your special action slots are taken with something that isn't a Cure.

Since those activities are still balanced around BLM and phys ranged being options I still don’t really see why that necessitates bothering with physick, if you want a spammable heal in field content use lost actions, if you are worried about sustain during fate farming play a tank
At the same time, though... why arbitrarily gut SMN Physick after level 41 (when caster and healer gear split)?Yes but class balance is balanced around the fact that DPS don’t have spammable heals (outside of lost actions), RDM sorta gets away with it because it’s basically a WHM by proxy but SMN is just a barely connected origin class with SCH

Just like, if Bard had a healing Song that wasn't worth using in most 8-man content it still wouldn't be outright "bad" that it had it. It'd still be under the button counts of other jobs, so it's not like it'd be losing anything to get that option.
Positionals lead to lost DPS when you have moments in fights where you can't either go to the bosses flank or back temporarily... And everyone sure loves doing less damage due to things you have no control over.
Kinda like how MNK used to be punished for not being able to attack the boss if they went untargetable for a mechanic and losing their Greased Lightning stacks and had to build them back up.
