(Yes, it occurred to me maybe they boosted to 90, but I checked them out on Lodestone afterward and they also have a couple other jobs leveled to 70/80. How??)

Also possible that they’ve only been playing with their friendos.

Every Final Day. "bgm up to 100!" "oh no, we out of LB?!?" "we missed the DPS check" "whelp, that's a wipe" "oh no, it's OUR enrage" "the power of friendship!" Every. Single. One. I'm so over it. I get it, it's fresh for those first timers. But jfc, its getting old for me.

Had two interesting Alliance Raids. 1 I was a bit of a jerk but in the end I think the others in my party were for it and the other I put my healing skills to the test.

1. So CT...obviously. I'm healing and I had 3 other CTs before this one so I was over it. I stop dodging stuff because at bets it tickles and I can just heal myself if needed. Also I'm not going to wait on the entire alliance to arrive on a boss that will die in a minute so I would DoT pull. One guy was not for it and saying they were gonna block me which is fine cause I'm hoping one less person I can be grouped with is a slightly less chance for CT. Anyway I keep attacking the moment I'm in range and we finish it no problem. One guy had words for me but I couldn't read what was said because the loot announcements were flying. I left with 4 comms.

2. Doing the Alliance that has Daddy Thunder God and we are doing our thing and people died but no biggie since Thin Air does work. We get to Cid and I think our healer just walked off or something cause they didn't disconnect but wouldn't raise up. We wipe due to lack of healing for a heal check and I get raised and I swift raise the healer but they never pop up and I get tank busted. Well 2nd round comes up but I have my oGCDs up so I say I can solo heal the heal check this time and we kick the other healer. We start up and another healer joins but never actually joins the fight on our side or never teleports through the barrier. I manage to solo heal it better than when we had two healers because I assume the 2nd healer will cover some of the healing and focus on DPS. Knowing I'm the only healer makes it so I put in extra effort and it goes really smoothly. Rest of the run was pretty much uneventful.

I'm sorry, that one is me, every time! Even in those exact words, too! I'm surprised though, I've never seen anyone else say something like this. I thought I was the only one!

The Limit Break joke though, I'm also guilty of, but I've seen plenty of other folks do something similar.

Wait, what? I thought FFXIV's Blacklist feature was so infamously weaksauce because it DOESN'T prevent you from matching with blocked players in Duty Finder. That, and it doesn't even take you off their Friends list so they can track your location and stalk you forever.

Unless I'm on MCH at the time, then it's "the power of friendship and this gun I found".

....if you mean the mogstation boost thats only to 80. Not 90.????

Question: when your co-dps on mch in Zot lags behind and never hits Sprint, stops and idles for odd reasons during pulls, doesn't seem to touch Tactician to help the war tank survive the pulls, and just overall lags behind in dps, do they truly deserve your drg Twizzler over the war tank that's consistently hitting that unga-bunga?

I ended up doing that in Zot on an alt just now and really don't know what to think. AITA for giving the war my Twizzler over the mch for a majority of the dungeon in this situation?

If the other DPS isn't pulling their weight, then by all means give the buff to the tank. I've done it with dragoon and dancer on multiple occasions. Especially on dragoon if the other DPS is constantly out of range anyway.
