I want more consistency in the levels skills are learned. It's insane that Sheltron is level 35 while Raw Intuition is 56 and HoS/TBN are 68/70.

Its insane that PLD 1, 2, 3 doesn't have a gap closer, doesn't have any sustain until a insanely high level, just feels awful to play.

It's like that for a lot of jobs, even EW combat is already bland enough but synching down feels awful for pretty much any job, you don't play as the "ARR, HW ECT." version of a job you're playing a watered down End walker job at that point because of how many things get removed for new abilities and space

That has been a problem with this game ever since Stormblood.

When CBU3 decided to keep the amount of buttons roughly consistent they started scrapping low level skills in exchange for new shiny ones for the expansion, but then they never bothered to rework at which level you acquire your skills.
So every 2 (now more like 3) years the lower level experience gets increasingly worse since they remove skills from those level brackets but all the actually good skills get stapled to your job close to level cap.

This makes it especially funny whenever someone tells new players to take their time and not rush to endgame. I'm sorry but endgame is the only time the class kits are actually coherrent and the gameplay isn't absolute dogwater.
